In preparation for October's "Co-op Month," the Kansas Cooperative Council will be presenting member cooperatives with a framed poster of the seven internationally recognized principles common to all co-ops. This is our gift to you to help remind your members, employees, customers and community about the unique values embodied in the co-op business model. The poster will come framed and ready for display at your local cooperative.
The KCC will be delivering these as we make our August and September member visits. If you are in Hutchinson between now and Sept. 20, you may pick up one from Jamie Boggs at the KFSA office. Those that are not hand delivered by Sept. 20 will be shipped to your co-op headquarters.
We do hope you enjoy displaying this reminder of what sets cooperatives apart from other business at your local office.
We hope you are also thinking of ways to promote your cooperative during Co-op Month. Some ways to involve your community in this celebration are: schedule a visit to your local school; serve a customer appreciation lunch; organize a charity walk-a-thon; distribute Co-op theme items to your members. You may also visit here for more ideas and promotional materials for Co-op Month. We would enjoy hearing about what your cooperative has planned in your community!
Here is what else the KCC has in store for Co-op Month. Please contact us for more information.
